EC Travel and Tours - Booking Policy
1. PAYMENT TERMS
- A partial payment of ₱6,000 per person is required to reserve a slot.
- The remaining balance must be settled on the day of departure.
- Unsettled balances may result in automatic cancellation of your booking.
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
- A Booking Confirmation will be sent after payment.
- If you do not receive it, please contact us immediately.
3. CANCELLATION TERMS
- More than 15 days before the trip: Full refund of the partial payment.
- 15 to 7 days before departure: Refund minus ₱2,000 administrative fee, or option to transfer your slot to another guest.
- Within 7 days before departure: Strictly non-refundable.
- No-show: Strictly non-refundable.
- Medical or emergency reasons: 50% refund of partial payment with valid medical certificate or proof of emergency.
4. FORCE MAJEURE / UNFORESEEN EVENTS
- In events beyond our control (severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.):
- The trip may be rescheduled, or
- Refunded minus ₱2,000 for non-recoverable expenses.
5. CANCELLATION BY EC TRAVEL AND TOURS
- If EC Travel and Tours cancels due to safety or operational issues, full refund of the partial payment will be given.
- We are not responsible for additional personal expenses (e.g., flights, hotels).
6. CHANGES TO ITINERARY OR SERVICES
- We may adjust routes, schedules, or activities due to weather conditions, coast guard or government restrictions, technical or mechanical issues, strikes, shortages, disturbances, or other events beyond our control.
- No refunds or compensation will be provided for itinerary changes made for safety or operational reasons.
7. REBOOKING POLICY
- Rebooking to another date is free of charge if requested before the trip and subject to availability.
- We will try our best to assist with last-minute rebooking based on weather and capacity.
- Reducing the number of guests in a group booking will be treated as a partial cancellation.
8. WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS
- If departure is delayed or cancelled due to weather or coast guard restrictions, an alternative departure may be offered the next day.
- If conditions remain unsafe, rescheduling may be offered for up to three (3) consecutive days.
- If you decline available options, ₱2,000 will be retained and the remaining balance refunded.
- If the coast guard denies departure for all offered days, ₱2,000 will be retained and the rest refunded.
9. ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- EC Travel and Tours is not liable for loss, damage, or malfunction of gadgets or personal items due to water exposure, submersion, or other unforeseeable incidents at sea.
- Waterproof bags will be provided to guests prior to the trip.
- Guests are required to place all electronic devices, valuables, and important items inside the provided waterproof bags at all times during the activity.
- Failure to properly secure personal belongings shall be at the guest’s own risk, and no liability will be assumed by EC Travel and Tours.
10. INSURANCE
- Guests are strongly encouraged to secure travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and loss of belongings.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- EC Travel and Tours is not liable for lost or damaged belongings, injuries, illnesses, accidents, delays caused by third-party providers, or missed flights or personal travel issues.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
- By booking with EC Travel and Tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated above.
